The forthcoming crime comedy thriller A Simple Favor 2 has received a major filming update from director Paul Feig. Based on Darcey Bells 2017 novel of the same name, the movie serves as the sequel to the Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively-led 2018 release, which centered on a widowed blogger who attempts to solve the mysterious disappearance of her wealthy friend. A few years after the theatrical release of the movie, Amazon MGM Studios greenlit A Simple Favor 2 for development and production, with Feig along with other cast members also confirmed to be returning.
