Despite a divisive reaction to the Star Wars sequel trilogy, the only movie in the franchise to have truly performed below expectations is Solo: A Star Wars Story, which accumulated a worldwide total of $392 million. Other than that disappointment, however a disappointment that did, admittedly, impact Lucasfilms theatrical strategy drastically most recent Star Wars movies have hit $1 billion or more, and Star Wars next movie is perfectly positioned to reach that target, too.
