The Legend of Korra may be Netflix’s next adaptation after the success of the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender. While Avatar began in 2005 and ended 2008, Korra ran from 2012 to 2014 and had a story split across four seasons. It tells the story of Korra, who begins the series as a much older and more experienced character than the early Aang. After the end of the Hundred Years’ War, Korra’s story is much more focused on maintaining peace, as opposed to Aang’s constant mission to establish it.
