Gunfire Games has announced the second major DLC for Remnant 2. The third-person shooter RPG title is a direct sequel to 2019's Remnant: From the Ashes, continuing from its 2020 DLC, Subject 2923, and sees players assume control of a group of post-apocalyptic fighters – in either single-player or up to three-player co-op – who are tasked with stopping a race of evil plant species called Root, which seeks to destroy the multiverse. Upon its launch, Remnant 2 was praised for its satisfying gameplay and its massive, dynamically generated worlds, which are filled with branching quest lines and unique loot to encourage exploration and replayability.
