Set images from A Simple Favor 2 reveal an upcoming wedding for Blake Lively’s character. Directed by Paul Feig, A Simple Favor follows Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick), a vlogger investigating the disappearance of her newfound friend and classy mother, Emily Nelson (Lively). Along with Kendrick and Lively, the film’s cast included Andrew Rannells, Linda Cardellini, Jean Smart, Bashir Salahuddin, and Henry Golding. The sequel to A Simple Favor was announced in 2022, and according to recent updates, will take place in Italy, where Emily gets remarried.
