The First Omen will explore the origins of Damien, and even though the trailers have hinted at a retcon to the franchise’s most confusing element, the movie is hinting at its return, but it can still fix it. Back in 1976, Richard Donner’s The Omen introduced the audience to Damien Thorn (Spencer Stephens), a five-year-old who was the prophesied Antichrist. Because of this, his adoptive parents, Robert (Gregory Peck) and Kathy Thorn (Lee Remick), went through a series of terrifying events that led to their demise. Now, over four decades later, a prequel, titled The First Omen, is arriving to solve the biggest questions about Damien’s birth.
