Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Set to Headline Fourth Date for Rolling Loud California

Kanye West is returning to Rolling Loud. After bailing on his headlining set in 2022, West is set to perform at the California festival’s newly-announced Thursday night (March 14) kick-off date.

Ye broke the news himself when he revealed Vultures would be coming to Rolling Loud on Thursday (Feb. 15) with an Instagram post showcasing the updated lineup including himself and Ty Dolla $ign.

“VULTURES COMING TO ROLLING LOUD,” West captioned the photo while Ty flooded his comment section with video camera emojis.

Barbz headed to Rolling Loud’s replies wondering if Nicki Minaj would still be headlining Friday night (March 15) at Hollywood Park, and the festival confirmed Nicki is remaining at the top of the bill for the evening.

However, Rolling Loud further explained that the added fourth day will take place on March 14 and all guests with valid three-day passes will be granted access to the newly-announced Vultures performance courtesy of Ty and Ye.

“VULTURES HEADLINING NEW THURSDAY NIGHT,” the festival wrote on their official X account. “All three day pass holders will be automatically upgraded to a 4 day pass. All single day purchasers will receive an email tomorrow with a special link to upgrade to a 4 day pass! New purchasers must purchase 3 day pass to receive access to Thursday night.”

This won’t be Ye’s first time making an appearance at Rolling Loud — the star made guest appearances during Future’s California set in Dec. 2021 and then popped out to rage with Playboi Carti in New York City in Sept. 2022.

The Chicago native was supposed to headline Rolling Loud Miami in 2022 but dropped out the week of the festival to be replaced by Kid Cudi. However, he still showed up for a brief cameo during Lil Durk’s set.

Rolling Loud California 2024 marks the first time the festival will run longer than three days (March 14-17).

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign delivered their anticipated Vultures 1 album over the weekend and the project is vying for the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200, which would mark Ye’s 11th chart-topper.
