James Cameron is hard at work on Terminator 7 – but if Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t coming back, who could replace him as the star of this sci-fi action franchise? During the press tour for Avatar: The Way of Water, Cameron announced that he was in the midst of the writing process for a new Terminator movie, which would be the seventh entry in the series. A few months later, Schwarzenegger said that he wouldn’t appear in any future Terminator films, blaming the poor writing of the last few installments for his lack of interest in reprising the role.
