Star Wars Is Making A Movie That Can Never, Ever Have A Prequel

One upcoming Star Wars movie will change the way the franchise approaches storytelling, as it will be impossible to produce a prequel for it. Star Wars is slowly but surely moving away from the Skywalker saga. Though the Disney+ TV shows have largely still been tied to the Skywalker family’s mythos, and Rey’s Star Wars movie will see her try to carry on Luke Skywalker’s and the Jedi’s legacy, there are plenty of other Star Wars projects in the works that are far removed from Star Wars’ primary family. One such project is James Mangold’s upcoming Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi movie.
