Sweet Home’s Hyun-su, played by Song Kang, lost a fight at the beginning of season 2 and went missing, which strongly suggested the character had died. Most of Sweet Home is told from the perspective of Hyun-su, who moves to the Green Home in the first episode of season 1 and soon realizes he is contaminated with the monster curse. Hyun-su’s story in Sweet Home subverted the Chosen One trope, as what makes him special is also what makes him extremely dangerous.
