Schmigadoon! season 2 is about to begin on Apple TV+, bringing with it a bevy of new songs, a new city, and new characters (played with visible joy by the same cast from season 1). While the first season of Schmigadoon! took on musicals from the 1940s and '50s, Schmigadoon! season 2 sets its sights on musicals from the '60s and '70s, including Chicago, Hair, and Sweeney Todd. Creator, writer, and songwriter Cinco Paul has managed to build on what made the original series great, with musical numbers that stack up to the best of the first season like the Emmy-winning "Corn Puddin'".
