Schmigadoon! season 2 may have given Keegan-Michael Key more opportunities to sing on-camera, but a lack of musical numbers didn’t stop him from performing during season 1, for better or for worse. Along with Keegan-Michael Key, most of the cast from Schmigadoon! season 1 has returned for the follow-up, with roles expanded and musical numbers heightened across the board. This is made possible in part by a stellar new collection of songs by Schmigadoon! writer and songwriter Cinco Paul, who is also well-known for his work in the Despicable Me films.
