While Picard vs. Shinzon for the fate of the United Federation of Planets was the main action, Star Trek: Nemesis marked a pivotal transition and change for the TNG crew as Commander Data (Brent Spiner) died at the end, and Captain Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) married Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) and they left the USS Enterprise-E for their own ship, the USS Titan.
