The DC Universe version of Batman will debut in the forthcoming The Brave and the Bold, whose announced director bodes well for the film. Batman is DC and WB’s most successful superhero in cinemas, with Ben Affleck due to be recast in the DCU, which is a soft-reboot of the old DC Extended Universe. This upcoming iteration of Batman will co-star with the Damian Wayne version of Robin in The Brave and the Bold, which has been described by James Gunn as a “father and son story.”
