At launch Street Fighter 6 features 18 unique characters, all of whom have an unlockable classic or alternative costume option. Although Street Fighter 6 introduces many new combatants, the latest game in the Street Fighter franchise also reenlists several veteran characters and series favorites – albeit with a revamped costume design. Once unlocked or purchased, the Street Fighter 6 classic outfit customization option allows players to return redesigned combatants to a more familiar appearance. Although the fresh takes on classic characters are, for the most part, excellent, some costume redesigns are not nearly as good as the alternative option – classic outfits.
