The transition from a successful sitcom to a spinoff often brings some inevitable casualties. Not every character from a beloved show can become a series regular on a spinoff, or else the sitcom would simply be a revival. However, Roseanne’s unusual history makes its spinoff, The Conners, a unique case. While this spinoff did drop a lot of Roseanne’s main characters, this was mostly because The Conners also got rid of Roseanne herself.
