1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is very happy with her weight-loss progress. The Dixon, Illinois resident was previously more than 700 pounds. She wanted to change herself but couldn’t overcome her food addiction and other unhealthy habits. In 2022, Tammy suffered a big health scare that put her in the hospital. She nearly died in a medically-induced coma and wasn’t in good shape. The 1000-Lb Sisters star decided to change her lifestyle soon after her trip to the hospital. She got serious about weight loss and joined a rehab to make a change. A few months into her ongoing weight-loss journey, Tammy lost nearly 400 pounds.
