The unscripted series, which premiered in 2020, centers on the dramatic weight-loss journeys of 37-year-old Tammy and her 36-year-old sister, Amy Slaton. When she made her television debut, Tammy weighed over 600 pounds, and though she was supposed to be trying to lose weight, she would go on to gain even more weight, weighing as much as 720 pounds at her heaviest.
