Amanda Halterman‘s been through a lot since appearing in 1000-Lb Sisters, but she’s still pursuing her weight-loss goals, and it’s time to talk about whether she’ll exit the popular series. 43-year-old Amanda, a school bus driver from Kentucky, is a force of nature. She didn’t appear in the first few seasons of the unscripted show, as she was busy going through a divorce, but she’s always been in her siblings’ lives. The Slatons are a close-knit clan, and Amanda is the protective mama bear of the bunch. The gregarious cast member has struggled recently.
