Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie, the Monk reunion film, can revisit several beloved characters and storylines from the original series. Monk originally aired on USA Network from 2002 to 2009. Now, almost 15 years after the show ended, the Monk cast is reuniting for a Peacock original film that will see Mr. Monk, played by five-time Emmy-winner actor Tony Shalhoub, in a post-COVID-19 pandemic context. Monk is widely considered one of the best detective series of all time, and some type of reunion was long overdue.
