Dragon Ball is one of the most iconic anime franchises around. Akira Toriyama’s creation has been loved around the world, spawning a ton of great sequels fans have continued to love for generations. One of the reasons Dragon Ball stands head and shoulders above most of its competition is its willingness to kill off characters. Sure, characters never really stay dead in the series, but it doesn’t mean their sacrifices aren’t memorable.
