Marvel Studios showed the world it knows what to do with the mutants, as X-Men ’97 saw several characters shine bright some for the first time outside the comics. Following Deadpool & Wolverine‘s release, Marvel now has two major X-Men-related hits this year, one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and one not. The animated X-Men ’97 is the first major project for the team since the end of Fox’s X-Men movies, and with X-Men ’97 seasons 2 and 3 confirmed, fans of the series are in for a long ride.
