Superman: The Animated Series had some amazing episodes that represent some of the character's best non-comic representation, from the stunning animation to the thoughtful writing. Set within the same continuity as Batman: The Animated Series, the show has been sadly overshadowed by its sister cartoon, airing four years after the premiere of Batman's similar show while lasting for one less season. The series' brevity and lack of recognition betray its incredible quality, with some standout installments that rival the best episodes Batman: The Animated Series had to offer.
