Despite its success in depicting many beloved X-Men characters and Marvel villains, some significant figures were markedly underutilized by X-Men: The Animated Series. X-Men: The Animated Series is often hailed as one of the greatest adaptations of Marvel Comics. It brought iconic storylines to life, from the Dark Phoenix Saga to Days of Future Past, and introduced a generation to the mutant team’s struggles for equality.
