The Walt Disney Corporation is reportedly aiming to save $5.5 billion, which could put an effects-heavy and high-concept sci-fi show like The Orville at risk of cancelation. However, there's no reason for the budgetary concerns of Disney, who own The Orville's streaming home Hulu, to impact upon the future of Seth MacFarlane's sci-fi comedy-drama.
