Adrianne Palicki's idea for Cmdr. Kelly Grayson's story in The Orville season 4 could solve a potentially huge problem introduced in the season 3 finale. There's no further word about the future of Seth MacFarlane's sci-fi comedy-drama, but Palicki has been discussing what she'd like to see should The Orville be renewed. Reflecting on her character Kelly Grayson, first officer and ex-wife to Captain Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane), Adrianne Palicki suggested a great story idea that would move Ed and Kelly's relationship into uncharted territory.
