Night Court star John Larroquette reveals that he turned down a spinoff during the original run of the show. Larroquette starred as prosecutor Dan Fielding in the iconic sitcom, which took place during the night shift at a Manhattan Criminal Court and ran for nine seasons between 1984 and 1992. The star returned for the 2023 revival show of the same name opposite Melissa Rauch as Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of original character Harry Stone (Harry Anderson). Larroquette is the only member of the original cast to reprise his role as a series regular.
