A Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two update reveals exactly how much of the movie has been filmed. The direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, which was released in theaters in July 2023, will see Tom Cruise return for another round of increasingly daring stunts as the IMF agent Ethan Hunt. Filming on the eighth Mission: Impossible movie began in March 2022, but was halted in July 2023 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
