The team behind HBO's beloved series Band of Brothers is dipping back into WWII with Masters of the Air, and the latest follow-up already has a leg up on its predecessor, The Pacific. Debuting nine years after Band of Brothers originally aired, The Pacific acted as a companion to the widely acclaimed miniseries. Although it didn't quite measure up to the bar set by Band of Brothers, The Pacific was renowned for its visual and technical execution and overlapping individual stories as opposed to the broader focus of Band of Brothers.
