Akira Toriyama’s Sand Land: Release Date, Trailer, & Latest News

The film adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s Sand Land is set to release soon, and here’s everything known about the movie so far. Sand Land, along with Cowa!, Kajika, and Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, was one of the few fully serialized manga Toriyama wrote after finishing Dragon Ball, running for 14 chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump from May to August 2000. Sand Land was later licensed in English in 2003, and in the two decades to follow, it has maintained a cult following among English and Japanese fans alike for encapsulating the same level of charm that Toriyama is typically known to put into his stories.
