Honey, I Shrunk the Kids' planned legacy sequel, Shrunk, has received a grim update from one of the film's stars, Josh Gad. A comedy film released in 1989, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids featured Rick Moranis as inventor Wayne Szalinski, whose shrink ray accidentally shrinks neighborhood kids trying to get a baseball from his house. The movie is regarded as a classic family comedy, with a legacy sequel, Shrunk announced for Disney+ in 2019.
