Set in the United States, Supernatural followed Sam and Dean Winchester’s 15-year journey across the United States in an effort to save people and hunt various supernatural monsters. As a result of the show’s substantial amount of lore and story, there have been a lot of big changes since Supernatural’s season 1 until the show’s conclusion in 2020. One of the biggest changes came about due to the stakes problem that the fantasy show faced each season, leading to the introduction of parallel worlds in Supernatural’s multiverse as one of the main story arcs in the show’s final seasons.
