Debuting in January on NBC, the return of Night Court is headlined by Big Bang Theory alum Melissa Rauch in the role of Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Harry Stone from the original series. She is joined by Dan Fielding (the returning John Larroquette), who reluctantly accepts Abby's offer to become a public defender. The show, which also stars India de Beaufort, Lacretta, and Kapil Talwalkar, has mostly focused on pairing Larroquette with new characters. But the sitcom's most recent episode offered a nice surprise.
