Despite its success, Clueless never got a proper sequel, but a theory claims that a secret sequel arrived six years later, and was also a big success. Directed by Amy Heckerling, Clueless is loosely based on Jane Austen’s 1815 novel Emma and takes the audience to modern-day Beverly Hills to meet Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), one of the wealthiest, most stylish, and most popular girls in Bronson Alcott High School, along with her best friend Dionne Davenport (Stacey Dash).
