Night Court Reboot Wedding Episode Ignores A Classic Series Milestone

Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Night Court season 1, episode 11, "Ready or Knot."The Night Court reboot teased a wedding on the courthouse roof, ignoring that one classic episode of the original series centered around such an event. The Night Court reboot episode "Ready or Knot" found Judge Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch) contemplating her long-delayed nuptials after a series of crimes tied to a bridal expo came through her court. After considering multiple wedding dresses and venues and being unable to make a decision, Abby concluded that the real reason she was delaying the wedding was because of her father and the fact that he had taken such joy in helping plan the big event before his death.
