Surprise! Brent Faiyaz announced on Thursday (Oct. 26) that he’s releasing his new album Larger Than Life — and it’s coming out tomorrow.
The one-minute clip features a kid selling a box of CDs outside of an auto detailing center and boasting the album as “the hottest sh– out right now.” Faiyaz pulls up in a car to check out the sales before telling the kid to up the price.
Larger Than Life, which is due out Friday (Oct. 27) at midnight EST via ISO Supremacy and UnitedMasters, is preceded by two singles, “WY@” and “Moment Of Your Life” with Coco Jones. The 14-track project will reportedly include additional features from A$AP ANT, A$AP Rocky, Babyface Ray, Cruddy Murda, FELIX!, Lil Gray, Missy Elliott, N3WYRKLA, Tommy Richman and TTM Dawg.
Faiyaz announced ISO Supremacy in August after Billboard announced in May that the R&B star and UnitedMasters had struck an unprecedented partnership to start the agency. ISO Supremacy, which stands for In Search of Supremacy, is a creative network with the mission of executing visual and sonic art. Faiyaz leads as CEO, with Darren Xu as COO, Ashani Allick as head of A&R, Michael Alexander as project manager and Zac Matias as art director. ISO Supremacy formed a joint venture with PULSE Records in August, and Richman was announced as the first signee.
The new LP arrives a year after Faiyaz’s sophomore album Wasteland, which was released on July 8, 2022, via Lost Kids, Venice Music and Stem. Wasteland included singles “Dead Man Walking,” “Gravity” (with DJ Dahi featuring Tyler, the Creator), “Wasting Time” (featuring Drake and The Neptunes) and “Price of Fame.” The 19-track project topped Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
