Writer-director John Hughes had at least 35 credits to his name, forming a well-celebrated, memorable filmography, with 10 films standing out as his greatest. While Hughes is best known for his 1980s coming-of-age films, he made films across many different subgenres to varying degrees of success. Additionally, Hughes has more credits as a writer than a director by a large margin, so there are plenty of movies viewers dont realize he helped make.
